Hospitality is Andrianna’s ultimate passion! From nurturing client relationships to orchestrating ideal events, the most rewarding aspect has always been establishing strong foundations for lasting connections. She is dedicated to further honing her administrative and event planning skills while fostering collaborative relationships across the hospitality, event planning, and nonprofit sectors. As the Senior Coordinator of Member Services at the Gwinnett Chamber, she supports a multitude of programs while contributing to the administrative elements of the Member Services Department. Q: What are some of the key initiatives and programs the Gwinnett Chamber offers to support its members?

The Chamber’s mission is to champion business. Our programs and membership teams execute more than 250 events every year to ensure we are connecting and cultivating a business community that is innovative and inclusive. Ribbon cuttings are our most popular source of business promotion and exposure. We do more than 100 every year, outside of our event productions, and businesses love the support! And, I have to admit, I love seeing our businesses happy.

Q: How do you measure the success and impact of the Chamber's services on its members and the local business community?

We measure impact by the number of new members we sign-up, the number of followers we accumulate over social media and the overall attendance to our events each year. Engagement is the goal and we work to meet businesses where they are and help them grow to the next level through engagement in the community and with fellow business leaders.

Q: What strategies do you employ to ensure member retention and satisfaction within the Chamber?

 

The Gwinnett Chamber employs several methods to retain and deliver ROI to its members:

·        The membership team conducts customized membership engagement plans with each new member.

·        Every new member goes through the “Gwinnett Chamber 101” orientation program.

·        Members also have the value and support of their peers through the Ambassadors Cohort, a group of 40-50 Gwinnett Chamber business leaders who are selected each year to serve as a volunteer extension to staff and provide mentorship, guidance, and support to new members to the organization.

Q: Can you share a success story or a particular achievement that highlights the Chamber's impact on a member business?

The Gwinnett Chamber loves to highlight its members and does so every quarter with its all-digital publication known as “The Executive.” Members and non-members in the business community read peer stories of success and achievement and how their engagement with the Chamber has worked to help them get where they are today. Q: How does the Chamber stay responsive to the evolving needs of businesses in Gwinnett County, especially in light of recent economic changes?

The Gwinnett Chamber really strives to act out inclusive best practices in everything we do. We expanded our board leadership to include minority and women executives. We recognize the importance of a diverse business community to global and international trade and investment and so we have cultivated memorandums of understanding with more than a dozen bi-lateral and multi-cultural chamber and business organizations that all have a presence in the Gwinnett community. We also celebrate women in our community through the Gwinnett Leadership Organization for Women (GLOW) and our annual MOXIE Awards that celebrate women business leaders. The Gwinnett Chamber leans into inclusion and as a result, finds success and growth opportunities within its richly diverse and highly talented business community.

Q: What role does networking play in the Chamber's services, and how do you facilitate meaningful connections among members?

Engagement really is at the core of everything we do. Happy, healthy, and engaged business communities thrive and find success. The Gwinnett Chamber champions small and medium businesses through networking and programming, with its economic development arm - Partnership Gwinnett - there to support our large industries. The Gwinnett Chamber Foundation is also available to assist minority, veteran, and women-owned entrepreneurs with certification opportunities and other pathways to rapidly scale their businesses.

Q: How does the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce collaborate with other local organizations and government entities to support economic growth in the region?

Partnership Gwinnett is the Gwinnett Chamber’s economic development arm and a public-private partnership that brings together Gwinnett County government, its 16 municipalities, and a host of private companies all working to recruit, retain, and expand target industry in our community. In 2023, this initiative has worked to create 1,168 jobs accounting for roughly $486 million in private capital investment for the community.

Get involved! We have 32 amazing staff members who all want to help our businesses thrive and can help direct our members to the programs and engagement opportunities that are right for them. We want to see you succeed. 

Q: Looking ahead, what are some of the future goals and projects for the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce that you're most excited about?

The Chamber is always evolving and looking for ways we can meet the market and grow with it. It is our adaptability and our innovation that earned us the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) Chamber of the Year for 2023-24 and it is in this approach that we endeavor to champion business well into the future!
