How has globalization affected the direction of your company? Globalization has affected my company by allowing a micro business like mine the ability to connect, build and retain healthy and profitable relationships with vendors in other countries. It has also allowed me the opportunity to purchase supplies in bulk, reducing my overhead and affording me the option to pass those savings along to my customers. Free trade has led my company forward and given me a beam of hope that I can grow and evolve due to the products and services readily available to me at a price that’s attainable.

How would you describe your leadership style? Democratic leadership style would best describe me. I am one to hearing input and feedback from others, but ultimately, I make the final decision on things relating to Sweet Lois.

How do you get others to accept your ideas? By carefully and thoroughly explaining, being upfront and honest, detailing the pros and cons and how and why it can work.
