Charity Involvement: Ladies Turn has a non-for-profit component as well. Our Foundation “Ladies Turn Global” is actively helping and supporting initiatives related to Anti-Human Trafficking, Mental Health, and Youth Development.

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Besides my new project Ladies Turn, I’ve been a Managing Director and CEO of First Person Care Clinic since 2017, a Federally Qualified Health Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. We operate 3 multi-specialty medical facilities, a school-based clinic, and one dental office. We provide countless of free and discounted programs and services to our clients and employ over 85 clinical, admin, and support staff.

Our non-for-profit health center opened its door in 2013. Since then, we have been serving the community regardless individuals’ ability to pay, helping over 32,000 new patients in the last 9 years.

PACIFIC TABLE

Pacific Table Las Colinas is celebrated Chef Felipe Armenta's eclectic mix of modern, Pacific Northwest cuisine rooted in classical technique. Oysters, traditional sushi, seafood, grilled steaks, oven-roasted chicken, sandwiches and salads are presented in a warm setting. Q: What is your ultimate vision for your company?

We aim to position Ladies in the Center of the New Global Business Infrastructure where all active members experience a sense of community. Our collective knowledge and success will trickle down and impact generations to come. We are going to start a joint venture in ways we cannot begin to imagine.

Q: Who are your mentors that impacted your professional/personal journey and explain why?

My parents. They showed me how to navigate the world with greater confidence and honesty. Being transparent and authentic has always made a positive impact in my life.

Q: Three things that we should absolutely know about you.

I love animals specially dogs, crows, and horses. Candles are a must have in my house and my office. Even though one of my methods to relax is through dancing and listening to music, my preferred method is being by myself sometimes thinking while I am not responsible for others allows me to see things from another perspective, it keeps me focus and revitalizes my thought process.

Q: Where are you from/hometown?

I am originally from Ciudad Habana, Cuba. I grew up in small neighborhood called Buenavista within the municipality of Playa.

Q: What time do you get up and what’s the first thing do you do after waking up?

I normally wake up at 5:30 am and the first thing I do is drink half a glass of sparkling water, then I close my eyes for another 15 mins before getting up. I like to revisit the things I have to do during my day before engaging in any activities.

Q: What motivates you?

Uncertainty. Where I was born and raised it was uncertain, we were going to be able to eat a decent meal every day. Lack of sufficient, size appropriate apparel, and the high cost of living compared with the salary earned by our families made it more difficult for us to feel we were going to be able to build a bright future for any of us. Uncertainty reminds me where I came from. Every time I want to quit it lights the fires of enthusiasm and reminds me of my dreams, and my responsibility of taking control of my life.
