Q: How did you start influencing and what brand was your favorite to collaborate with?
I worked for a large boutique for 5 years out of college and was their Director of PR. I was in charge of events, created an ambassador program, and played a part in their social media! I have always had a love for styling and photos. It truly is something that comes natural to me, so I knew once I left that company, I would want to start sharing other brands, affordable finds, and all about my life.
One favorite collaboration was with the King and Prince Resort in St. Simons! My husband and I were able to take a quick weekend getaway, shoot some content, and explore a new place! Working with hotels and resorts in general is one of my favorite types of partnerships because it allows me to show my followers new and awesome places to go!

Q: As glamorous as being an Instagram influencer looks, what are the biggest struggles you’ve found with this line of work?
Prioritizing my days! When you’re an influencer, you sign up for a job that requires you to wear a lot of different hats. I am my own Creative Director, Secretary, Model, Photographer, Graphic Designer, and Business Developer. Juggling all the different roles can be tough because some days you have to put all your focus into just one or two of them, but then get left feeling like you may have dropped the ball in another area.

Q: Do you enjoy working more with fashion/jewelry brands, health and beauty brands, or food brands?
Fashion is my true “bread and butter” so to speak, but I love switching it up and adding in health/beauty along with food collaborations! I want my platform to be a place where people can go to for recommendations in all areas.
Q: Is there a lot of research involved when it comes to finding a location to shoot at?
If I’m wanting to shoot at a place that may have a “photo restriction,” such as needing a release form signed, then yes! However, most of my photos are not planned out unless it is for a campaign. I have a social media agency, Webber + Co. and my employee for the agency helps me shoot after work most days and we normally just go somewhere close and convenient!

Q: With the pandemic have you found it more difficult to find brands to collaborate with? Are you working more or less?
I didn’t really start my blogger journey until right after the pandemic, so for me it’s all I know! However, I have not received much push back from brands and have actually been able to do blogging full-time during the pandemic with little to no issues.

Q: Besides your Instagram blog, do you have your own personal business? What is it that you sell?
Yes! Along with my Instagram and website, I have Webber + Co.! W+Co. is a boutique social media agency offering full social media management services, including influencer relations services.
Q: Where do you find your inspiration?
I mostly find, my inspiration either by scrolling through Pinterest or I save poses/outfits on Instagram to reference! It helps a lot when I’m trying to get ideas for a campaign.

Anna Page, Bre Sheppard, and Danielle Glanz. All of them have VERY different styles, but I love how true to them they are! They all inspire me in different ways and have the best recommendations.

Effortless and on-trend! I always love adding in those key “trendy” styles while keeping my looks easy to recreate! I love using one piece and styling it a variety of ways to give my followers more than one use out of the pieces I share!
Q: What was the best way for you to gain your following and how do you keep them engaged with your content?
I make sure I am posting consistent, quality content of styles that I genuinely love. I am always responding to my followers, which I think in turn creates a more engaged audience. My followers always say that they feel as though they “know me” and that they like how I am just myself on stories and throughout my platform. That is something I will continue to strive for and will hopefully keep growing from.
